My family and I recently watched Disney’s Coco, and I was really inspired by the lovely and vibrant colors used throughout. The bright, beautiful color combinations really drew me in, and I wanted to incorporate those into a project. So, here is the Imelda Seed-Stitch Scarf. Mama Imelda is a character in Coco, so I thought I’d name this scarf for her. (If you haven’t seen the movie, it is really good.)

The seed-stitch scarf is a basic narrow scarf with a beautiful texture created by the seed-stitch pattern and accented with fringe. This is a beginner pattern, requiring the following knitting techniques: casting on, knit stitch, purl stitch, binding off, weaving in ends, and attaching fringe.
