The blanket is constructed with linked extended single crochets (lexsc) and sc rows. The lexsc is a fun stitch to work, and the color changes are carried along one side for ease. I am very happy with how the blanket turned out.

The pattern can be easily modified to change the overall size and width of the stripes. All instructions for the original pattern and modifications are detailed on the pattern website.
