Inspired by the styles of the 1920’s, this stylish cloche mixes sharply defined colorblocks with perfectly feminine ruching and bows. Make a bold fashion statement with sharply contrasting colors, or go for a more subtle look with tone-on-tone pairings. Skills required include knit, purl, decreasing, and short rows
Sizing: Adult small (medium, large). Finished circumference measures: 20 (21.5, 23.25)”; 51 (55, 59) cm.
Gauge: 20 sts and 28 rows = 4” (10) cm in stst on size 6 US (4 mm) needles, or size needed to obtain gauge.

Materials
Yarn: Sample hat shown is knit in a worsted weight, 100% wool yarn, 110 yards (101 meters) per 50g. You will need:
45 (50, 60) yards; 41 (46, 54) meters worsted weight yarn in color A (shown in yellow in sample).
80 (95, 110) yards; 73 (87, 101) meters worsted weight yarn in color B.
size 6 US (4 mm) needles; either one long (40” or greater) circular OR one set of 5 double pointed needles (dpn) and one 24” circular needle.
Size 4 US (3.5 mm) needles; set of 5 dpns or 16” circular
yarn needle
~3 yards scrap yarn for provisional cast on
stitch markers (8)
