Needle Suggestions

• Circular needle 3.5 mm (US 4), for the lace pattern. Slightly shorter than the garment’s bust circumference.
• Circular needles 3 mm (US 2.5), for ribbing at the neck and bottom edge, as well as for the armhole edges. Slightly shorter than the garment’s bust circumference and approx. 40 cm / 16 inches.

Use the needle size that gives you the correct gauge
in the lace pattern. Choose a needle that is 0.5 mm
thinner for ribbing and edges.

CONSTRUCTION

First, the back is knitted back and forth from the back of the neck and down, with increases that shape the armholes. The lace pattern is knitted in sections, where every other section has a horizontal shift. When the back piece is finished,
stitches for the shoulder straps are picked up at the cast-on edge. The sides of the neckline are shaped with increases, and the shoulder straps are joined together with cast-on stitches for the front neckline. The front piece is shaped with
increases for the armholes in the same way as the back piece. Stitches are cast on at the armholes, and then the body is knitted in the round. The top is finished with a narrow ribbing at the bottom edge and neck edge, and with i-cord edges
around the armholes.

Stickförslag

• Rundsticka 3,5 mm, till spetsmönstret. Något kortare än plaggets bystvidd.
• Rundstickor 3 mm, till resår i hals och nederkant samt till armhålens kanter. Något kortare än plaggets bystvidd samt ca 40 cm. Använd den stickstorlek som ger dig rätt stickfasthet i spetsmönstret. Välj en sticka som är 0,5 mm tunnare till resår och kanter.

Konstruktion
Först stickas ryggen fram och tillbaka från nacken och ner, med ökningar som formar armhålen. Spetsmönstret stickas i sektioner, där varannan sektion har en förskjutning. När bakstycket är färdigt plockas maskor till axelbanden upp vid uppläggningskanten. Halsringningens sidor formas med ökningar, och axelbanden sätts samman med upplagda maskor till halsringningen fram. Framstycket formas med ökningar till armhålen på samma sätt som bakstycket. Maskor läggs upp i armhålen, och därefter stickas bålen runt. Toppen avslutas med en smal resår i nederkant och halskant, och med icordkanter kring armhålen.
