Impish is a quick knit and perfect for any partial skein of worsted weight yarn leftover from another project. The pattern includes instructions for knitting the hat flat and seaming it shut and also instructions for knitting it in the round.

Sizes: Preemie (Newborn, Baby, Toddler) to fit a baby with a head circumference of:

12 (13, 14, 16)” / 30.5 (33, 35.5, 40.5) cm

Yarn Requirements: Approximately 70 (80, 100, 130) yards / 64 (73, 91, 118) meters worsted weight superwash wool.

Sample shown in Knit Picks, Swish Worsted (100% Superwash Merino Wool & 110 yards / 101 meters per 50g) Colorway: Rainforest Heather.

Needles and Notions: US size 8 / 5 mm 12” / 30.5 cm straight or circular needles, US size 7 / 4.5 mm dpns for icord
