Designed to fly off the needles and Impress, this hat combines stockinette stitch and simple lacework after a quick ribbed brim. It works up quickly turning a beautiful skein of DK weight yarn into a warm hat that is sure to impress!

This is a perfect hat to broaden your knitting skills. The design is both written and charted. Learn how to use yarn overs and decreases to create a simple lace design that mimics a cable.

The Impress Hat is designed to fit an adult medium/large. There are three options given for the length of the hat: beanie (8 inches from brim to top, pictured in Lost Princess), sorta slouchy (9 inches from brim to top, pictured in Berry Stomp), and slouchy (10 inches from brim to top, pictured in The Huddle is Real). Instructions to shorten or lengthen the hat as desired are included.
