A scarf made of socks, inspired by the scarf beloved Canadian singer/songwriter Gord Downie was wearing during his band’s final concert tour… “to keep his instrument warm”.

Our Gord is dying of incurable brain cancer. The final tour - undertaken after his diagnosis and a round of treatment - was his gift to Canada.

This is a small thing we want to do to thank him: if you’re moved by the story, or his music, or make the scarf, consider making a donation to the Gord Downie fund at Sunnybrook Hospital, which has been treating him.
