The top has a modified dropped shoulder design. It is knitted flat (back and front) bottoms-up. After the shoulder and side seams are completed, the sleeves are knitted in rounds. An I-cord bind-off method is used to finish the v-neck and the sleeves.

The pattern is intended for linen-based yarns. Linen-based yarns may lean to one side when knitted in stockinette in rounds. This is one of the reasons for knitting the front and back flat.

The pattern teaches the concept of horizontal bust darts (including a video tutorial), explains a wrap and turn method (or can use your preferred method) for short rows as well as how to do an i-cord bind-off in knitting.

Difficulty Level - Intermediate.

The pattern uses centimeters as the main unit of measure. The measurements in inches are converted from cm.
