In the Cuttings Infinity Cowl
by Lanea Kliner
A quick project using only knit stitches! (similar to garter stitch)
Super easy to remember and completely reversible, this infinity cowl will keep you very warm during the cold of winter.
Uses:
198g worsted weight (shown in Bernat Super Value ‘Lush’)
6.00 mm knitting needles
Story of ‘In the Cuttings’:
Islanders have a phrase, with local pronunciation “Slippy in the cuttins” which means ‘Be careful! It is slippery in the cuttings!’ In the winter, when there is a metre (several feet) of snow on the ground, a path (called ‘a cutting’) is created by a snow blower. The rows of ridge work are reminiscent of the cuttings of winter :)
