In the woods sweater is worked from the top down. First, the upper part of the back piece is worked back and forth, then stitches are picked up at the cast-on edge on each side for the front piece. The GSR technique is used to shape the front pieces before increasing for neckline. When the front and back piece are the same length, they are knit together in the round on circular needles. The stripes are knit with horizontal stitches. The idea is that you should be able to use leftovers if you have some lying around. Further, the sleeves are picked up and knit in the round on circular needles. The neckline is knit in the end.

The sweater has a positive ease of approx. 10-15 cm.

NOTE! Size 5, 6 and 7 have yet to be tested.

In the woods sweater strikkes ovenfra og ned. Først strikkes øvre del av bakstykket frem og tilbake, videre plukkes det opp masker i oppleggs kanten i hver side til forstykket. Det brukes vendepinner med teknikken GSR for å forme forstykkene før det økes til halskant. Når forstykket og bakstykket er like lange strikkes de sammen og det strikkes så rundt på rundpinne. Det strikkes mønster i form av horisontale masker. Tanken er at en skal kunne bruke rester til stripene om en har det liggende. Det plukkes opp masker til ermer, som strikkes rundt på rundpinne. Til slutt strikkes halskanten.

Genseren har en bevegelsesvidde på 10-15 cm.
