Ina Halterneck Top is a feminine, fitted knitted top featuring an elegant peplum detail and halterneck ties. The design has a flattering silhouette with a defined waist and a gathered effect at both the peplum edge and neckline, creating a light and airy drape.

The top is worked from the bottom up. First, the peplum detail is knitted in the round, after which the stitches are halved to create a gathered effect. Then a rib section is worked at the waist, creating a fitted shape. The work is then divided into front and back, where the back stitches are bound off, and the front piece is worked flat in stockinette stitch.

The front piece is first expanded with increases and then shaped with decreases along the sides. Finally, the stitch count is reduced significantly to create a gathered effect at the neckline, after which the top is finished with i-cord ties that function as neck straps.
