My little scarf was developed when I wanted to make a scarf with out using purlsts as I do in Inasklud (a free pattern I have here on Ravelry)

This small scarf is therefore knitted in the round with magic loop and from the middle outwards. Increases in every round and more and short rows shape the scarf, so You even with a smaller amount of yarn get a usable scarf.

You can use scraps, knit stripes, make lace patterns or even stranded patterns. Only the imagination sets limits and the scarf is easy to knit with patterns that work best knitted from the knit side

the pattern has a TIPS & TRICKS section. Here you will find advice for getting an elastic Bind off, for rounding the tips, for more rapidly increases and making the “wings” longer faster. All this to set the knitter free to create, what the knitter likes and wants

The size is easy to adjust to the knitter’s own wishes - in fact You can knit is as big as You want - as big as a shawl. The technique and method are the same. You just keep on knitting

The gauge is not cruical. But for a more soft and airy scarf I recommend You use a rather loose gauge for the yarn You choose

For the one Inasskæveklud You see here I have used 40 gram of fingering weight yarn. But again: Your choices affect the amount of yarn
