100% of proceeds of this pattern’s sales go to Hurricane Relief forever, starting with restoring Lake Charles, Louisiana after Hurricane Laura 2020. I will update this page as needed to show how much is raised and the places it’s being used.

From September 7, 2020 to October 31, 2020: 100% of ALL my pattern sales, here and on PayHip, will be donated to my best friend and chosen family to help them restore their home. An estimate of over ten thousand dollars in damage has to be repaired out of pocket before it can be reimbursed by insurance and this is not financially possible for them. This is classified as a Scarf, due to the overall length, it falls under what is categorically known as an infinity scarf. The super chunky/bulky gauge is achieved by holding 2 strands of DK yarn together and knitting at a chunky gauge with a lovely marled look.

This pattern was initially posted as a draft form public test, which means it was a free pdf download that contained none of the worksheets, tutorial links, and none of the beautiful publication formatting done in the published paid for pattern.

Here were the original terms of the public test, kept here for my reference while I distribute the pattern to folks who participated. This following portion will be removed from this page once the pattern is sent to all participants.

• If you participate in the public test, by casting on and creating a project page with a WIP photo before public test closes and the pattern has a price, I’ll send you the finished pdf for your library at no charge. (This means if there are ever updates to the pattern, you’ll receive them!)
• If you cast on and finish (with FO pics!) before the public test closes, I’ll send you the finished pdf for your library AND your choice of another of my patterns (or a coupon that can be used for a year for any one pattern) both for free.
• All feedback on pattern should be noted ON your project page! I’ll go through them all as I finalize the pattern in case minor changes need to be made to improve the knitting experience of this pattern.
• Public Test ends May 15, 2020.

If you cast on and don’t manage to finish before the public test closes and the paid for pattern is released, don’t worry, as long as you had the project page with a WIP photo, you’ll get a gift copy of the final pattern sent to your library. If you don’t set up the project page or don’t participate in the public test, you’ll still have access to the draft version that is this free download as long as you’ve saved the pdf to your computer or other device.
