Texture and color come alive when you crochet these large floor pillows. In deep earth tones, the patterns are reminiscent of American Indian design, one of our richest sources of traditional folk art.
Experienced crocheters will delight in showing off their skills by working a variety of stitches, including single, half double, and double crochets. In addition, nubby picots provide the robust texture on both the Indian Cross Pillow and the Indian Charcoal pattern.
These pillows are worked in knitting-worsted weight yarns. Directions are included for crocheted backs or the fronts may be attached to fabric-covered pillow forms.

Materials listed below are for a crocheted front tacked to a fabric pillow. For a crocheted pillow back, purchase three additional skeins of charcoal yarn. To crochet the back, follow instructions for the Indian Cross Pillow, subtituting charcoal yarn for brown yarn.
