If you know me at all, you know that there is a heartfelt story behind every single thing I do. Every December I do “12 Days of Giveaways“ in my Yarnitoli Facebook group. Something that I look forward to every year. I make sure that I put something into every single giveaway. And every year, there are more and more extremely generous and amazing members that donate. These giveaways are freaking over-the-top EPIC! One night, right before I hit GO LIVE, my little Vera blurted out: “I would like to dye the yarn for this one, Mama!” This was a kit that included a design/pattern of mine, a pink & grey “stars” project bag made by MY Mama, and then all of a sudden a skein of yarn dyed by my little Vera. Three generations of makers went into this kit. Quite the trifecta, too, might I add! ‍♀️ My sweet friend, Julianna Volk, ended up winning this giveaway. The day we announced her as the winner, she went into labor with her third daughter, and fourth child. Alllllllll the feels on this one! Every single one of them! and, then, out of nowhere, I decided that, instead of mailing her the scan of Yarn, I was going to make her sweet little Indie something special.

This beautiful & sweet little sweater features beaded Raglan seams, garter pinstripes, a linen stitch waistband, and a smock stitch hemline! The neckline is worked on size US9’s and the rest is worked on size US8’s. Working the pattern on bigger needles, like this, allows for A LOT of stretch to grow with baby. The finished sweater will fit, unblocked. But as baby grows, this pattern ensures you can HEAVILY block it for tons of length and height stretch!

Size US9 DPN (or you can use magic loop).
Up to 28 size 6/0 (or 7/0!) glass beads
Cable needle
Stranding needle

Gauge: 4.5 sts per inch
