This small baby blanket is worked with the right side facing and has a lovely lacy section plus the texture of popcorn and front and back post stitches. It has a 13 row repeating pattern and the stitch count is given for the border in case you want to make the blanket larger. The blanket can be made with any yarn using the appropriate size hook though if thicker yarn is used the blanket will be larger. One of my testers made a DK/8ply version and it measured 123cm square / 37 inches and used 3 x 100g balls of 2 different colours.

My tester who used a Scheepjes Whirl needed a Whirlette to complete the blanket and the tester who used a Hobbii Twister needed a Twister Solid to complete the blanket. The 3 of us who used YarnArt Flowers made the blanket using a single cake of yarn which is 1000m.
