Infinitely Diverse is dedicated to the full, beautiful spectrum of neurodiversity. The term neurodiversity was coined in the 1990s by Judy Singer, as part of the Autistic Rights Movement. Primarily, it is the idea that Autism, and other neurological types, are not wrong or broken, but rather different neurologies, with as much value as any other neurology. Neurodiversity advocates fight for access, inclusion, respect, and support of all neurodivergent people. The rainbow infinity symbol has been adopted as the visual representation of neurodiversity.

There is no specific gauge for this pattern. It works well with any weight from lace up to light worsted. This pattern is written for fingering weight yarn, held double. The double strands allow for a section of color change where one strand is the first color, and the second strand is the next color. If working with yarn held single, you can fade from one color to the next by alternating rows during the color fade section. You can also use a gradient cake and save yourself from weaving in ends!

The pattern includes notes for adjusting length and width of final scarf.

Both the Autistic Women & NonBinary Network and United for Communication Choice will receive $2 each from every sale of the Infinitely Diverse pattern.
