The infinity symbol handles will appeal to mathematical and scientific types as well as those who are looking for an easy-to-knit stylish bag.

Worked entirely in garter stitch, this bag is knitted in one piece on two needles starting at the base. The pattern includes instructions for working the crossed handles as well as an option for straight handles.

The originals were knitted in Debbie Bliss Soho, and the larger bag in the picture was made with Sirdar Eco Wool and mohair knitted together using 8mm needles. Any 100% wool which will felt can be used. For the standard version you will need 200gr of the main colour and 100gr contrast. Allow extra if you are working with two yarns together to make a larger bag.
