The Design:
Infinity Bloom is a round design that features bold surface stitches. The fabric works up three layers thick, making it ideal for thermal projects. It’s well suited to coasters, trivets and pot plant savers (depending on yarn composition)

ch-sp: Chain space
MC: Main colour
CC: contrast colour

Materials needed:
Infinity Bloom was designed using Superb 8 acrylic or 8ply merino for a heat safe alternative. it is particularly striking by if using a variegated dyed skein for the contrast colour and a neutral main colour

Meterage used was approximately 500m of MC and 250m of CC, which made one large, one medium, one small circle and one pen/crochet hook/ teaspoon holder

Gauge: not required

Recommended hook size:
4 to 4.5 mm for 8ply, or hook appropriate for your chosen yarn weight

Stitch tips:
Anything between .. repeat the amount indicated x

Anything between … is repeated within a … repeat

Anything between is worked in the same stitch or ch-sp. Eg. {dc5} in the next st is 5 double crochet worked in the same stitch

Unless otherwise noted, only the first/ starting chains of each round are counted as a stitch

The start and end of rounds are deliberately different to usual working in the round rules to achieve a ‘seamless’ effect. Please pay close attention to instructions

You will be working the MC and CC independently. A marker will be placed where indicated to hold the colour you are not currently working with

Stitches will be hidden by the fans, move the fans aside or count backward to find the right stitch
