✨ Cables that float right off the pillow

This cushy cabled pillow is worked in Infinity Crochet, a crochet method I developed that gives you clean, beautiful cables with serious texture. Two shapes are included, a rectangle and a square, so you can make a matched set for the couch.

All the post stitches are “floated” on a consistent background stitch that never gets skipped. That lets the cables sit higher than traditional raised or overlay stitches while the main fabric keeps an even gauge. If you love cables but want them to look crisp, this one’s for you.

✨ What makes it work

• Floated post stitches. The cables ride on a background stitch that’s never skipped.
• Raised, crisp cables. They stand further from the background than traditional overlay cables.
• Even fabric. The main fabric keeps an undisturbed gauge.
• Two shapes. Rectangle and square versions included.

✂️ What you’ll need

• Yarn: Maker Home Dec, Bernat (bulky), 475 to 625 yds total depending on shape.
• Hook: J (6.0mm)

✿ Sizes

• Rectangle: 13” x 10 ½“
• Square: 13 ½“ x 13 ½”
