☾ A slouchy hat worked flat? Yes, really

The Whirl Slouchy is a fun hat worked flat, with a popping cable and amazing texture. It’s a stunning accessory that’s a joy to make.

It uses Infinity Crochet, my technique for working cables in a way that eliminates the holes of traditional crochet cables. They can be worked on all kinds of backgrounds, too.

✨ What makes it work

• Worked flat. No working in the round required.
• Infinity Crochet cables. Bold cables with no holes behind them.
• Custom cable thickness. The cable size doesn’t change the background gauge, so you can group front floats by 3, 2, or 1 for a thicker or thinner cable.
• Three sizes. Child, Adult, and Large Adult.

• Yarn: Superwash DK, Valley (hand dyed DK weight). Color shown: Fog.
• Yardage: 240 (260, 280) yds
