The beautiful large leaves on this scarf look especially effective in aran weight yarn. The stitch pattern is created with yarn overs and decreases.

The scarf is very easy and fun to knit! The pattern includes both written instructions and a chart for the stitch.

Finished Size:
Circumference: 58”/148 cm
Width: 16”/41 cm

The scarf is knitted for 58” (or a desired length), then the cast on and bind off edges are sewn together.

Yarn used: #4 medium worsted ( 10 ply)
Gauge: 4-4.25 sts per 1” in stockinette stitch

The yarn that I used for this scarf, Premier Yarns Basix Worsted, is amazingly soft, perfect for sensitive skin.
I used almost two skeins of this yarn.
