Infinity can be defined as something without any bound. The Infinity Shawl is a triangular shawl knit from the top down, beginning at the center. It is worked flat and is a wonderful first shawl project. To echo the infinity symbol, sections of figure 8 stitches are created using an unusual technique and provide a fluffy texture in the shawl.

Great for stashbusting: the small size uses appropriately one single skein or partial skeins could be used in the alternating stitch pattern sections. The Infinity Shawl could also be worked in other yarn weights with the appropriate needle size to create your desired drape; this would affect gauge and therefore also the finished size.
