My own design based on a lot of stolen ideas. :D

I made it in stockinette stitch with a moss stitch frame. But the pattern can basically be made in any technique, yarn weight, gauge or color way you’d like.

After my daughter was born I embroidered her name onto the blanket between the horse and cow. (If you already know the name you might as well knit the name while you’re making the blanket.)

A fun, quick and easy project that surely will make any receiver really happy.
