Don’t stop knitting garments just because it’s summer! This feather of a shell is knit in a luscious, hand-dyed 100% silk yarn, and is absolutely wearable in the dead heat of summer.

Front and back hems are knit flat, separately, and then joined in the round to give a slight side split. The lace panels are mirrored on the back of the piece, while a single lace column flows seamlessly onto the left side strap.

This is one of three projects featuring beautiful hand-dyed yarn from Neighborhood Fiber Co. All projects are named after noteworthy places in Baltimore, MD, the home of Neighborhood.
