This neckwarmer is worked flat, in brioche stitch pattern. Directions are also given to make it larger and to make a scarf. The first picture shows the neckwarmer version, the “Samples_Inshore.pdf” contains the pictures and the specifics of all the test samples.
The pattern has a link to a video tutorial for the brioche stitch.

Gauge in brioche st with needles size 4.5mm / US size 7: 40 rows on 4” / 10 cm unwashed and unblocked. Washed and blocked is 40 rows on 5.12” / 13 cm.

Finished measurements of the blocked cowl in the first picture: 28.35” / 72 cm x 7.87” / 20 cm.

The pattern is both in charts and line by line directions.

On the download page there are two files : “Inshore.pdf” is the complete pattern with charts and written directions, “Test_samples_Inshore.pdf” contains the pictures and the specifics of all the test samples. My biggest thanks to the test knitters, their projects are wonderful!

NOTE : the “Test_sample_Inshore.pdf” does NOT contain directions, only pictures of the test samples, yarn amount, measurements and notes. There is NO need to print it to knit this pattern.
