For guaranteed comfort, I work the sole of these children’s slipper socks in reverse Stockinette stitch, so the smooth side of the stitches touch the skin and the potentially less cozy purl bumps are on the outside. The ribbing on the leg and across the top of the foot make for a very flexible fit.
