Integral, in the sense of “basic” and “necessary,” is what this not-quite-traditional triangular shawlette or shawl will become to your wardrobe; use the shawlette to finish off a casual weekend outfit, or wrap yourself in the shawl for instant coziness. This design features a lush lattice-like texture and the simple edging echoes the central pattern. Both pieces are worked sideways from the rightmost edge to the leftmost edge and are knit in a 100% merino aran-weight yarn for loads of warmth at an unbeatably cushy gauge. And the “wrong side” (shown in the last picture) is as beautiful as the right side!

Finished, Blocked Sizes:
Shawlette: 50” wide along neck edge x 16 ½“ long at center back
Shawl: 60” wide along neck edge x 21 ½” long at center back
