This square is made using interlocking crochet in the round. There is a complete video tutorial included, and each round is timestamped so you know where in the video each round begins. There are also two versions of the chart - one plain chart, and one with markings showing when to do front vs back double crochets to create the design.

This square is the first square in a set that will be released one square per month for this entire year, so if you’d like to get updates about future releases, sign up for my email list here! It would also make a great afghan on its own, with the repeating quilt-like motifs. I also sewed two squares together to make a thick woolly pot holder!

I have made this square in both Wool of the Andes Worsted (pictured) and Paintbox Simply Aran, using a size H crochet hook for both squares. In the worsted, the square measures approximately 9”, and in the Aran, the square measures approximately 10”.
