The Interloctagon Blanket Crochet Pattern includes written instructions for both the octagon and the smaller square needed to make the blanket. Both patterns use interlocking crochet in the round and come with full video tutorials to walk you through the process. The octagons measure approximately 10” across, and the squares 5.25”.

For this project, you will needed worsted/aram weight yarn in 2 or more colors and a size I (5.5mm) crochet hook. The pictured yarn is Paintbox Simply Aran in Racing Green, Jam, Midnight Blue, Mustard Yellow, and Stormy Gray. Yarn amounts needed depend on the size of blanket you’re making, but as an estimate, each octagon will require approximately 55g/111y, and each square requires 25g/51y.

You will also need two stitch markers (optional, but highly recommended) and a tapestry/yarn needle for sewing in ends.
