My young friend Julia is a talented young pianist and a fellow ‘monster knitter.’ When she walked into the yarn shop wearing some fingerless gloves out of Koigu, I knew I had to write up a pattern with her!

I couldn’t resist embellishing her original design with beads around the cuff. These little tasties are knit from the cuff to the fingers, so you all the beading is done at the beginning of the knitting (handy if you’re using friable yarns like Rowan’s tweed 4-plys).

You may choose either size 6 (larger) or size 8 (smaller) seed beads, depending on the look you’re after.
