Interstellar Handwarmers
Interstellar Handwarmers are fun and colorful fingerless mitts worked in the round on 10” (25 cm) circular needles, then on long circular needles for the magic loop method (or other preferred method for knitting small circumferences in the round) when working the corrugated ribbing at the fingers. The hand is worked with both MC and CC using the Hand Stitch Pattern, while the afterthought thumb is worked in MC only. Decreases are made right before the finger area to create a more fitted ribbing to hug the fingers, if desired.
Sizes are based on hand circumferences:
S (7” / 18 cm), M (7.5” / 19 cm), and L (8” / 20.5 cm). Length can be easily added when desired.
