Thick and richly textured, the cables on this shawl evoke memories of the ripples in the sand left behind by the waves on the shore. Smaller cables cover the majority of the shawl, growing to feed into a rich braided border at the end.

This is incredibly easy, just six rows to keep track of for the main body of the shawl and only one cable row. The asymmetric shaping is easy to keep track of too.

Tip: I found it helped to have a locking marker on that edge just in case I lost track of where I was.
