This simple yet elegant design is perfect for adorning sweaters, blankets, scarves, shawls, bags and almost anything else worked in somewhat of a rectangular shape. It is a fun one to make and a fairly easy-to-follow pattern that can produce some spectacular results. There are no bad places to stop and it can be easily adapted to be wider/thinner proportionally, so the size of any of the projects adorned by it will not in any way suffer. The gauge is very loose. You need just your basic toolkit (needles, yarn, etc.) and a cable needle to create this design.
All the yarn info, needle size, yardage etc. mentioned above does not have to be used by you if you adapt it into your project: it is just what I used to make the fabric in the photograph.
