This pattern uses the Filet Crochet Technique and you will see Cacti emerging as you progress through the pattern). It is designed for Beginner to Intermediate Crocheters.

There are three different instructions including written, filet chart and number chart as well as photos. This pattern is available in both US and UK terminology.

I have made two different versions of the blanket, one in DK Yarn and one in Aran although could be made in your choice of yarn. (Finished size of blanket will depend on yarn used)

My DK blanket was 85cm x 100cm
My Aran blanket was 110cm x 140cm - Aran seems to vary depending on brand used.

Yarn required -
DK - 400-500g (approximately 1200m in total)
Aran - 700-900g (approximately 1400m in total)
