This beanie pattern is knit in the round from the bottom up. It has a ribbed pattern with colorwork in between. This is a super bulky beanie pattern and great to use up scraps! You can use any colors your heart desires. I love the look of the hearts in this beanie. The color change is flawless as I use a knitting technique that won’t show the purl bumps when changing colors.

I used malabrigo Rasta, Nella’s Cottage, Meggles knits and fibers and Fainting Goat Fiber. Any size 6 yarn weight will work. Like Lion brand wool ease thick and quick, hometown, homespun. Baah mammoth. WAK the Wool.

Yardage use for MC is 40 yards/66 grams and CC is 30 yards/50 grams.

Beanie measures 9 inches wide by 9.5 inches tall. This beanie is nice, thick and warm. Covers the ears and won’t fall down or slip up!
