Ipazia Cardi has a romantic and refined style that harks back to other times, it is a soft, warm and elegant garment.
It has an elegant lace stitch that decorates the entire yoke.
The yoke is made up of a single chart that contains the increases.
The yoke grows in harmony with the design and the increases are integrated and camouflaged in the lace stitch.
The cardigan is worked back and forth from the top down with a circular yoke, gradual increases are made in the yoke until you reach the sleeves which will be put on hold on a stitch holder or waste yarn and then picked up later.
To make it easier to read the pattern, a single chart is followed in the yoke and the increases are “camouflaged” in the design.
This way there will be no seams.
Sleeves are worked in rounds.
We used two yarns together, a merino thread plus a mohair and silk thread, and the result is a warm, voluminous, soft and elegant-looking mix.
Ipazia Cardi comes in 11 sizes (from 82 to 186 cm 32.2 to 73.2 “ bust circumference).

Cast on the neck with the shorter cable and then switch to the longer cable as you increase stitches. Use 60 cm 24” for sleeves and 100 40” for body.

Ipazia Cardi ha uno stile romantico e raffinato che rimanda ad altri tempi, è un capo, soffice, caldo ed elegante.
Ha un raffinato motivo a traforo che decora interamente lo sprone.
Per realizzare il motivo si segue un unico schema grafico che contiene gli aumenti.
Lo sprone cresce in sintonia con il disegno e gli aumenti sono integrati e mimetizzati nel motivo a traforo. Questo modello è lavorato in piano dall’alto verso il basso con sprone rotondo, si eseguono degli aumenti graduali nello sprone fino ad arrivare alle maniche che verranno messe in sospeso su un filo per poi essere riprese successivamente.
Le maniche, riprese successivamente, sono lavorate in tondo.
Con questo metodo non ci sono cuciture.
Abbiamo usato insieme due filati, un filo di merino più un filo di mohair e seta e il risultato è un mix caldo, voluminoso, soffice e dall’aspetto elegante.
Nel pattern sono disponibili 11 taglie da 82 a 186 cm di circonferenza busto, la guida alle taglie e la tabella nel PDF ti aiuteranno a scegliere la vestibilitá che preferisci.

MATERIALI
Ferri circolari 3.5 e 4.5 mm
(cavi 40, 60 e 100 cm)
Inizia dal collo con il cavo più corto e poi aumentalo gradualmente mano a mano che aumenti le maglie. Usa il cavo da 60 per le maniche e il cavo da 100 per il corpo.
