Iria is worked seamlessly from the top down holding two strands of yarn together. First the back, sleeves and neckline are worked back and forth and after the final neckline cast on the jumper is joined to be worked in the round. Raglan increases are worked to final yoke length, where sleeve stitches are placed on hold. A set of short rows and lateral braid is worked at the bust. Body increases create a subtle A-lined shape. Short rows shape the back giving it a slight curve and bit more length than the front. Sleeve stitches are picked up again to work the sleeves in rounds top down. Neckline is worked last. The pattern gives instructions for short and long sleeved version.
