A fresh and contemporary tapestry crochet cushion inspired by traditional cross stitch. The iris design is worked in two colours using double crochet in the round. The design wraps both sides and may be crocheted as a single panel or three repeat panels to cover the whole cushion.

The finished cushion should measure approximately 50cm x 30cm but instructions are included to make a cushion pad to fit any finished size so tension and yarn type are not critical.

To ensure a consistent stitch size for the whole cushion both colours of yarn need to be worked throughout, the unused yarn being hidden within the stitch.

It is recommended you use Cascade Ultra Pima but this may be substituted for any high quality mercerised cotton. The single panel design requires approximately 250g (500m) of Pansy 3705 and 150g (300m) Natural 3718.
