This shawl is a larger version of the Iris Goddess shawl. That shawl was knit in stripes with fingering and mohair. While I was knitting it, I knew I wanted a large one colour version. You could of course knit a striped version of this bigger size shawl if you’d like.

This shawl includes the feather and fan design element from the Beks shawl. The pattern has more repeats of the feather and fan rows and just one of the star stitch rows in between. The lacy nature makes for a very light weight shawl. This is a separate pattern because new charts had to be created to make it work.
