The Iris Top is a quick and enjoyable project that can be easily completed in just a few days.

This seamless top is worked from top to bottom, beginning with shaping the upper back. Increases on each side create a diagonal shoulder seam, while strategically placed increases form the armholes leading up to the underarm. Stitches are then cast on along the diagonal shoulder seam of the back piece, and the sides of the neck are worked separately before shaping and joining the front.
Once the front and back pieces are connected under the armholes, the body is knitted in the round and finished with an asymmetrical, slanted hem.
The neckline and armholes (optional) are completed by picking up stitches and working in twisted rib.

SIZES XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL to fit chest circumference 78-85 (86-93) 94-100 (101-109) 110-118 (119-128) 129-138 cm / 30.75-33.5 (34-36.5) 37-39.5 (39.75-43) 43.25-46.5 (47-50.5) 50.75-54.5 inches.
The top is designed to have approximately 4-10 cm / 1.5-4 inches ease at the bust (This means that the final bust circumference of the top should be this much larger than your actual bust measurement).

Finished chest circumference: 90 (97) 104.5 (114) 124.5 (132) 141 cm / 35.5 (38.25) 41 (44.75) 49 (52) 55.5 inches.

NOTE: This top is designed with a deeper armhole, which is right on trend this summer.
If you’re thinking about making the armhole less deep, consider shortening the number of stockinette rows without increases in the “Upper Back” section on page 5 and in the “Upper Front” section on page 6.
Just keep in mind that the row gauge is approximately 2.9 rows per centimeter, so you can adjust the depth accordingly.
