Update January 7, 2023: Corrected error on chart legend, changed mention of “Kitchener Stitch” to the correct “Mattress Stitch” and added written instructions!

IRISH DIAMOND HEADBAND is perfect for keeping your ears warm in chilly weather. Made for approximately 22” head, can easily be modified with more or less rows for a more custom fit.

The swatch is knit in seed stitch.

Wool yarn is recommended for great stitch definition. I used I Love This Wool in the color Ivory, and you can make a few headbands with one skein. Solid colors are recommended, yarns that are too colorful may appear too “noisy” and lose the cables.

I’d love to see your results, please feel free to post your projects!
