A simple lace stole with an optional beaded border, suited for first-time beaders.
Designed as a sock or sport weight yarn project using 1.5 – 2 skeins, this can also be knitted in lace weight for an airy and elegant shawl or in heavier yarn for a warm and comfy stole for cold days.
A one-skein sock yarn option is also given.

The final measurements depend on the yarn and needle size and how you decide to block it as well as on the number of pattern repeats. The pattern includes the math required for adjusting the width and the number of repeats to your liking.

The pattern file includes charts and written instructions. Please see the first page for a table of contents so you don’t need to print the entire document.

I designed this shawl for the 2011 St. Patrick’s Day Celebrations contest. This is my first pattern and I would love to hear feedback, see pictures and hear of any errors you may find.

I would like to thank my wonderful test knitters for their feedback, their beautiful work and for bearing with me and my glacially slow publishing process.
