I needed to make a handful of baby blankets but wanted to try patterns that I haven’t done before.

I found a pattern like this but I didn’t need to make it so but and had no clue on how to make it smaller. I decided to make a pattern myself to fit the size I needed :)

I love this design because of the changes in the blanket, it’s not just the same pattern. You can make this blanket as wide or tall as you would like, not just for a baby blanket.

This blanket is roughly 30”x“30 with the boarder.
Hook size: 5.5
Techniques: DC, CH
Yarn used: 3 balls (492 yards) of baby bee soft & sleek baby low-pill fiber yarn.

I named this blanket Isabella in honor of my little niece, Isabella…
