CONSTRUCTION: The Islasocks are knitted top-down. First, the cuff is worked, followed by the leg, which is knitted in rounds with a pattern. Then, the reinforced heel flap is knitted before shaping the heel turn. This is followed by the gusset. The foot is also knitted in the pattern until finally, the toe is shaped with decreases. The toe is closed using the Kitchener stitch.
