Isle of White Sweater
DESCRIPTION
Understated sweater worked in three yarns
The ISLE OF WHITE sweater is worked seamlessly from the top down using stockinette Stitch. First, the upper part of the shoulder shape with German Short Rows and the neckline are shaped. After the top parts of the front and back are completed, both parts are closed to knit in the round and worked downwards.
Front and back stitches are then placed on the needle together to work the main body in rounds down to the waist. Waist shaping is part of the main body but can be omitted. After picking up the armholes, the tops of sleeves are shaped with GSR. All edges are ending with rolled edges.
The ISLE OF WHITE sweater has options for waist shaping, the body can be worked either straight or with waist shaping.
SIZE DIAGRAM NOTE
The garment is calculated to given tension. The correct tension controls both the shape and size of a garment. The size diagram shows the finished garment and its dimensions, so that you can see how much ease there will be for your size. To be extra sure, measure a similar shaped garment and compare it with the size diagram.
