This scarf is mentally created during a visit to Isola Bella (Lago Maggiore / Italia). It is a further development of the Spinel idea. Here, however, implemented quite differently.

The scarf is knitted from the bottom up. So, it is easy to adjust the size, by knitting less rows.

And it is a fun and easy knit.

Many thanks to the great test team. It was a pleasure!

The pattern is accompanied by video tutorials published on InstaTV.

Alternatives
Kits with yarn by Shibui Knits

Instead of Modena you could also use Shibui Lunar.

Kits with yarn by Lamana
Two-threaded with a mohair combination: Modena with Premia or Milano and Premia.
Two-threaded without mohair combination: Modena with Milano

Kits for knitting with a single thread without mohair
(2 times Lace results in one fingering)
As you can see from the test knitting projects, you can also knit single yarn with fingering (400 m per 100 gr). You get more volume when the yarn is twisted, i.e. the yarn has some tension.
