NOCIONES PREVIAS
revés, montar puntos, retomar puntos, hacer aumentos y reducciones,

SKILLS
To knit this shawl you need to know how to knit and purl, to cast
on and to pick up stitches, to make increases and decreases, to be
familiar with the stranded colourwork and steeking techniques,
as well as to perform an i-cord bind off.
CONSTRUCTION
This shawl is knit from side to side, starting at one side by knitting
flat, making increases until the required number of stitches has
been reached before joining to continue knitting in the round.
Then, stitches are cast on with the backwards loop method for the
steek, and the shawl is then worked in the round until the end. Before
cutting the shawl open, an i-cord bind off is worked all around
the edge. Then, the sides of the steek are reinforced with crochet,
the steek is cut open and finally the side hems are sewn on to the
wrong side so that the cut stitches are protected.
