From I Heart Felt:

When I was designing prototypes for the Shaggy Slippers I had a misfire or two as I worked out the kinks in the pattern. One of the misfires looked particularly silly as a slipper, but my husband squinted at it and said, "It looks like a purse to me." He was right. It did look like a purse, and a darned cute one at that. I used the same yarn as the Child-Size Shaggy Slippers, but you can use any feltable worsted-weight wool yarn and any eyelash yarn, about 100 yards of each, to make your own little bag. Be sure to use a funky button to dress up the finished bag.

Requires one skein of Brown Sheep Lamb’s Pride Bulky (125 yards) and one skein of Crystal Palace Yarns Squiggle (100 yards).
