Inspired by resist-dyeing techniques, Ita Hat reinterprets these geometric patterns into knitted form by combining stranded knitting with two differently textured yarns: Tov DK and Flette by Woolfolk. The bumpy texture of Flette creates stitches that emulate the organic marks of the tie-dye-inspired colourwork pattern.

Yarn
Main Colour (MC)
Woolfolk Tov DK
100% Ovis Ultimate Merino wool DK weight
146m / 160yds per 50g / 1.76oz skein

Contrast Colour (CC)
Woolkfolk Flette
100% Ovis Ultimate Merino wool DK weight
120m / 131yds per 50g / 1.76oz skein

Yardage:
MC – 78 (98)m / 85 (107)yds of “TDK00”
CC – 57 (75)m / 62 (82) yds of “11”

The instructions for deeper ribbing, will require approx. 10% more MC. The deeper colourwork will require approx. 8-10% more of both MC and CC.
